HWEA is attending the Building Industry (BIA) Hawaii's Home Building & Remodeling Show at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. This annual event brings thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors together. It is a great opportunity to engage show attendees and share the importance and value of water infrastructure to the environment, public health and the economy.
The Public Education Committee is looking for volunteers to help with our informational booth. Volunteers will help set-up and break-down the booth and interact with the public. Our displays teaches visitors about "Forbidden Flushables" and steps that they can take to prevent sewer spills in their homes and the environment. The following shifts are available:
Friday, January 25: 4:30pm - 9:00pm
Saturday, January 26: 9:00am - 2:00pm
Saturday, January 26: 2:00pm - 7:30pm
Sunday, January 27: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Sunday, January 27: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

If you cannot volunteer but would like to attend, contact us for a VIP Pass or get tickets at NBC box office ($7 Adults, $10 3-day pass, $2 for age 60 and older on Sunday only, chIdren under 13 are free.
