The American Water Works Association Hawai‘i Section and the Hawai‘i Water Environment Association are proud to announce the sixth annual joint conference now known as the Pacific Water Conference at the Hawai‘i Convention Center from February 19-21, 2019. Our joint conference committee is hard at work to bring you an exciting, fun, and educational conference.

The Pre-Conference Workshop kicks things off on Tuesday, February 19. The Conference officially opens on Wednesday, February 20 and lasts through Thursday, February 21. Join us at the Convention Center Kamehameha Exhibit Hall I to cheer on this year’s operator competitions featuring HWEA’s Operations Challenge and AWWA’s Pipe Tapping and Top Ops events. Remember to check out the exhibitors showcasing the newest and latest products in the industry. With five technical session tracks to choose from, there’s sure to be one that piques your interest. The conference golf tournament will be held on Friday, February 22 at the Kapolei Golf Course, and the community service event will take place on Saturday, February 23.

The American Water Works Association Hawai‘i Section and the Hawai‘i Water Environment Association are proud to announce the eleventh annual joint conference now known as the Pacific Water Conference at the Hawai‘i Convention Center from February 20-22, 2024. Our joint conference committee is hard at work to bring you an exciting, fun, and educational conference.

The Pre-Conference Workshop kicks things off on February 20 with five (5) pre-conference tracks: Stormwater, Wastewater, Wastewater Operators, Water Operators and  Young Professionals.

Stormwater Pre-Conference
This track will include presentations and discussion about holistic management of stormwater including flooding and water quality. Topics will include stormwater management programs and utilities, policy and regulations, One Water principles, operations and maintenance, and nature-based-solutions. This track aims to have participation from all parties that deal with stormwater management, including representatives from the State, Counties, and consultants, in hopes to have collaborative discussion.

*Speakers receive complimentary conference access, lunch, and parking for day that they are presenting.  For an additional $100, speakers can purchase conference access, lunch, and parking for each additional day of the conference for which they are not presenting.  Evening events are NOT included and can be purchased separately.  Speaker rate is for ONE person per session.

**Exhibitors: fee includes 2 exhibitor conference access (2 day attendance & parking) + 2 meet & greet tickets. Lunch and banquet tickets can be purchased separately.  Additional meet & greet tickets can be purchased separately.

***Students: $25 entry fee includes parking. Students get a booklet (if we have extras) but DO NOT receive conference bags. Lunch & evening events can be purchased separately.

****Retired: registration fee includes conference, lunch, & parking. Evening events must be purchased separately.

Note: 1.  We are providing a Young Professionals (YP) pre-conference discount of $50 off if you sign up for the YP pre-conference track.  No code is necessary to receive the discount. 2.  FOR CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS, please be advised there is a 3.75% processing fee per transaction.

Refund Policy: Cancellations made by December 31, 2023 will receive a 95% refund of fees paid Cancellations made by January 20, 2024 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid After February 1, no refunds will be issued.  Paid registrations may be transferred at cost.
