2024 Water Reuse Conference
The Hawaii Water Environment Association (HWEA) and American Water Works Association (AWWA) Hawaii Section is excited to invite you to attend the 2024 Water Reuse Conference on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. A pre-conference field trip to Honouliuli Wastewater Treatment Plant & Honouliuli Water Recycling Facility is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2024. More info coming soon.

*Pre-conference field trip is limited to 30 attendees on a first come, first served basis. All field trip attendees must be registered for the main conference.
Pre-Conference Field Trip Description
Join us on a field trip to the Honouliuli Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Honouliuli Water Recycling Facility (HWRF)! The tour will include the new secondary treatment at the WWTP and the recycling processes of the HWRF. It'll be a great way to kickoff the Water Reuse Conference with new and fellow colleagues.
- Wednesday, December 4, 2024, 9 am to 12 pm
- Lunch will be provided.
- 30 attendees maximum.
- Prepare to walk throughout the tours.
- Bring water and sun protection. Hard hats and safety glasses will be provided.
- Parking will be on the wastewater side. Additional instructions will be provided to confirmed attendees.
- Waivers must be completed prior to the tour. These will be provided to confirmed attendees.
- MANDATORY DRESS CODE at these working industrial sites. ALL VISITORS MUST DRESS IN:
- LONG or SHORT SLEEVES (no tank tops or bare shoulders) - Comfortable and light clothing recommended.
- LONG PANTS (no shorts or skirts)
- COVERED SHOES (no slippers, open-toed sandals, or high heels)

**Recorded presentations will be made available approximately one month following the conclusion of the conference.

Refund Policy:
- All general cancellation requests must be made by emailing president@hwea.org.
- Requests must be made by the deadlines specified below to receive the refund amount of the registration order.
- Cancellations made by 10/30/2024 will receive a 95% refund of registration fees.
- Cancellations made by 11/20/2024 will receive a 50% refund of registration fees.
- Any cancellations made after 11/20/2024 will not receive a refund
