The Hawaii Water Environment Association (HWEA) and American Water Works Association – Hawaii Section (AWWA-HI) are excited to announce that the 2020 Pacific Water Conference will be held on February 5-6, 2020 at the Hawaii Convention Center.

Our conference theme is “Ka Ho’oko ’ana i Mau ‘Onaehana Wai Pono i Kekahi Aniau Loli – Achieving Sustainable Water Systems in a Changing Climate.” The theme emphasizes the importance of sustainability in our industry and being able to adapt. It was selected from many good entries from our conference theme contest.

Our committee is hard at work planning all the conference activities. The conference week kicks off with a Pre-Conference on Tuesday, February 4, which will feature five concurrent workshops. The main conference is on Wednesday, February 5 and Thursday, February 6. There will be five concurrent tracks and a demonstration track. A draft technical program will be released in early November and will be available on our website (www.pacificwaterconference.com). To end the week, we will have our annual golf tournament on Friday, February 7 at the Hawaii Prince Golf Course and a community service event on Saturday, February 8.
